GWEN HIGGINS ENGLISH SCHOLARSHIP

The Gwen Higgins English Scholarship was established by the family of Mrs. Miriam Gwendolyn Pilcher Higgins to honor her and her love of English literature. The purpose of this scholarship award is to inspire students to continue their studies and foster their love of English literature. Each year, the Gwen Higgins English Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship to a graduating high school senior.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

criteria

1. Pursuing a college degree beginning in the fall after graduation
2. Is a high school senior at Lake Arthur High School
3. Minimum 3.5 GPA in high school English courses

Award: $2,000 (one-time)
Application deadline: March 17, 2024
Award notification: At a graduation ceremony in May.
